Mazeppa Bay is a picturesque, little village on the Wild Coast, famous for its exceptional fishing and swimming. With a relaxed holiday atmosphere and the beauty of a number of beaches, all within walking distance of each other, Mazeppa Bay makes an especially beautiful area to visit.
There are walking trails through the Manubi Forest with its distinctive Yellowwood and Sneezewood trees. Or hike part of the Wild Coast Hiking Trail from Mazeppa Bay.
First Beach, the most popular of the three beaches in Mazeppa Bay, is a great swimming beach with palm trees and a 100m suspension bridge leading from the beach to an island - perfect for deep sea fishing with an amazing view of the coast. Mazeppa Bay's Second Beach and Shelley Beach are more suited to keen shell collectors and for long walks. Enormous sand dunes and plentiful oyster beds call out for exploration.
